Sorry about the delayed response - been away for a few days.

I've pretty sure I never installed Jon's mod and have no renamed .exe files floating around. If anyone would care to compare, my file versions are:

msf.exe: file version 1.4.3.22125, date created 04 September 2009 12:17:32
appli.exe: date created 28 April 2010 12:19:52

As I mentioned in the first post the connection seems neither robust nor consistent, but I thought it might at least be of interest to some.
