No, I did not try the search button under your post. I used the search button at the top of the page. It turned up a whole bunch of forum threads with titles such as "WEP problems no WPA" and "Any News On WiFi WPA Update??" and "WPA anytime soon" and "Where's WPA ???". I also downloaded the product spec sheets for the current remotes on the Philips Pronto web site and found no mention of WPA support.

Sorry if my search skills aren't up to your standards, but I made a good faith effort to find the info I was looking for, and was unable to do so. That's why I posted the question.
