You may have already checked this but I was having a simliar problem. Here is what fixed my issue:

1. Set the Advanced WiFi settings to a single AP and select the channel your router is on.
2. Use WEP only and set the passkey as a Hex key with only numbers
3. Use DHCP as your IP settings

It took me several hours to figure this combination out but was finally successful.
