FWIW, I installed the new firmware on two TSU9800s, a TSU9600, two RFX9600s and a RFX9400 using W7 x64 without a problem. In limited experience so far (a few hours) it is MUCH better than the previous version. For example, I use my TSU9800/RFX9600 with EscientPronto and with the old firmware when I was playing a playlist it would not update very often so it would not show accurately the current song playing. I'm sure this was a problem related to the connectivity issues introduced with the last version of the firmware. No problems now.
