I seem to remember that in a previous update (last year ?) Philips said that they were renaming the RFX files to ".bin" to avoid any mixup with zip or not zip. In this latest update, the link on the Philips web site for firmware is a ".bin" file which can then be downloaded to the unit itself, as is.
