can i ask a question if you owned a fully automated home do you want to have to go and find where the the kids put down the home cinema remote to turn the lights on when you walk through the front door after a night on the tiles? i know i wouldnt.. . .there is a market for the inwalls otherwise they wouldnt sell and manufacturers wouldnt make them.
everyone is allowed their own opinion its true and while an inwall ipad sounds great on paper its not proven as a reliable enough automation solution yet it is after all just a tablet pc.
i too agree the inwall is a little dated in terms of styling and hold my own views on the way this can be improved but the hardware is not dated and easily has atleast another 2 years of development left in it before the need to start a new range arises.
the important thing is to realistically highlight feasable ways in which the product can be improved by philips before release to better find a niche within the market and compete with the other vendors.
