I think it is a great solution and I already have some ideas for use. I have been unable to use the 9600 in corporate locations because I wanted it mounted in a podium or on the wall (had to resort to an RTI pieces). Our corporate customers are moving away from battery powered units because someone always forgets to put it back on the charger. It's the perfect size for a conference room or break room where we often use small touch screens (if I want a larger touchscreen I will use a Zenarc with an eeeBox mounted behind it for a lot less money). Javascript makes it really easy to talk to our IP based controllers (Aurora WACI nuggets).
