Review:The Complete Control MX-450 universal remote control is a powerful and intuitive device that offers seamless control over home entertainment systems. It features a bright and easy-to-navigate color LCD screen, which provides visual feedback and real-time status updates. Users can program up to 18 devices, including TVs, cable/satellite boxes, and streaming media players, with customizable keys for easy access to frequently used functions. The remote also supports macros, allowing users to perform multiple actions with a single button press. Moreover, the device's ergonomic design and backlit buttons make it comfortable and easy to use in low light conditions. Overall, the Complete Control MX-450 seems to be a reliable and user-friendly remote control option for simplifying home entertainment systems.

Strengths:Support is Completely Terrible
There is NOT even ONE person there that has ANY idea how to operate their own products

Forget about trying to ever get Warranty service
They will tell you that the unit has a name (ie Game Room) marked on the unit with Marker and no longer under warranty
Weaknesses:Each of their products are extremely complicated to use and come with very very basic instructions impossible to understand without some type of degree
Review:Stay Far away from this company

Also owned:Harmony One, Nevo C3, Harmony 880
Strengths:Intuitive layout of buttons.
Good "feel" of button press and cradles well in hand.
RF control built-in (requires use of RF receiver)
Pages can be hidden from user view.
Easy wizard to add devices.
Weaknesses:No hard buttons for Page Up (+) and Page Down (-)
Limited built-in icons for favorite channel use.
Uses std batteries as opposed to a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery.
Review:If you've programmed remotes before, this remote is pretty powerful considering the price. Unlike what others have said, the programming of the remote can be "backed-up" to a laptop using the archiver software that is available to consumers (NOT just installers).

Goto the Universal Remote website, hit support, and search for MX-450 Archiver Software. Download and install.

Strengths:Who cares their support is HORRIBLE
Weaknesses:Support is HORRIBLE
Review:I bought this remote then spent days getting the programming right.
My girlfriend dropped it on a tile floor and cracked the display.
Called URC to get it fixed and asked them if they could transfer my programming to the new replacement (they only replace and not fix..lame)
They ASSURED me several times on different calls (one to see what was up with the return since they never email or call to let you know) they would
transfer the programming (BTW you can't save your programming since their software to do this is only available to "installers" (can you say RIP OFF?)

So I get the remote back almost a month later. Must be hard to send out a new replacement with no programming transfer done.
Guess what... NOTHING in it. Just like new.

I called them to tell them and they say they will have someone call me back.
Guess what?
THEY JUST DON"T CARE. NO CALLBACK and I for one will
NEVER EVER BUY ANY PRODUCT THEY SELL!
