For inputs, there is no workaround. However, you can assign them in the menu settings to the F1, F2, and F3 keys. For example, assign HDMI to F1 and now the F1 key is HDMI. This allows you to create discrete inputs (at least three of them) which is probably good enough. If you need more, got to one discrete, then command "INPUT" to take you to the right one. This projector is not packed with too many features, so dont expect much for the sub 2K price tag.
