I have the following components:

RCA Scenium HD-TV
Yamaha RX-V1500 Tuner-Receiver
Motorola cable box (Time-Warner digital)
Yamaha DV-S5770 DVD
Bell & Howell VCR (old)

I have AB speakers and listen to music on outside B speakers.

I'd like to keep the cost under the $100 range. We have cable and an outside antenna. Must have wife approval factor and be simple to program. I am an advocate of the KISS principal.

I am considering the Logitech Harmony 659 or 520, or the URC 200. Can anyone nudge me in the right direction?

URC's MX-500 is about $90. It's not PC programmable so you can't get discretes, but it'll control all of them as fully as the OEM remotes.

I would stick with any of the Harmonys. Very easy to program and very high WAF.

Harmony's are good, and so are URC's, but the sony touch ones are good aswell. I just used a VERY old model(about 5yrs old) for a friend and it was even able to learn buttons and macro's and it already had DISCRETES on the touch that was all laid out. the new ones are a lot more advance than the older ones. check them out:
