One of my components is a ThetaDigital Casanova. To control main and remote zones it's not easy to do with IR and no state management. And, all the equipment is in a closet.

My previous set up was with an old Pronto T1000(?) plus an Ocetlot CPU to receive IR, manage states and issue RS-232. This worked but after moving I need to re-do all this and I would like: color screen, RF, and RS232 in all one unit.

Asking too much? Is there a solution for this?

thanks

I would look into RTI T3 with RP6, RM433 and a CM232 or the new Universal MX-3000 with a MSC400.

I've been looking at the RTI gear. The T3 is very nice and pricy! When you add the RF and RS-232 controller it's nearly $1500! Wow!
Maybe Xmas...

Actually its more than that....1199 for the T3, 599 for the RP-6, 149 for the RM-433, 79 for the CM-232

2026.00 is where its about plus programming

I have a T3, RP-6, RM-433, T1, RP-1 at home that I use for the living room and M bed equipment.

Wanting a T4 and XP-8 now....have to wait on the XP 8 awhile longer

What is known about the Destiny Domain 3000 controllers?

This looks like a great box with all kinds of inputs and outputs. Pronto, MX-3000 and other RF hand helds @418mHz can communiate directly to it making a ProntoPro plus the Domain 3000 price out at just over $1,000...

I just learned about the Xantech XTR39 and the RF2IR base station that support IR blasters and RS232. The whole package is about $700, not too bad considering the price on the other stuff.

Is any one familiar with this unit? I tried to download the instruction manual but the link was broken.

Just how programable it is and is the graphical capability decent?

IN looking at it you get 4 IR ports (routable??? dont know) and only 1 232 port, so in order to expand the IR ports you will need a connecting block, have you loaded the software yet??

It might be limited on its memory. There will be the RTI T2-C soon, its a color remote retail will be around 799ish, add in the RP-6 and antenna for a nice package, Or look at MX3000 and a MSC-400 or a MX950 and a MSC400

There are other options for 232 as well...like a Xantech IR to 232 box but for a little more you could get a MSC400 from URC

Research the Xantech remote more before you buy oneI am loading the software now to see how it operates...Looked at thr manual and it looks like a decent entry level remote...Will know more when I load the SW
