Hi,
I need a universal remote that is compatible with a Bose Cinemate ii (non GS model) home theater system. if anyone can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Please, no guesses, I want to make sure I get the right one.
Thanks in advance.

The Cinemate II uses the NEC2 IR protocol, device 186.160. Its supplied remote has only 4 buttons. Power 76 Vol+ 3 Vol- 2 Mute 1
Of course any Harmony will have these codes. Remotes made by UEI provide these signals on setup code Audio 1933 (31933 for models using a 5 digit setup code.) RCA RCRP05B Sony RM-VLZ620 Comcast red OK/Select button most Atlas remotes provided by some other cable companies OneForAll URC-8820N
Some UEI remotes can supply these signals using Video 1895. For example: OneForAll OAR04G /05G /08G (21895)

I am not "absolutely sure"; I don't own a Harmony. But all Harmonys use the same data base. It isn't in the remote, and you'll actually download it from Logitech. They have a very large coverage. The only downside is that some of the signals are learned by users, and they could be dirty learns. The remotes I mentioned are sure to have perfect signals. But I'm quite sure that the Harmony will work. I think there website will tell you if they have an exact match.
