Pls suggest any cheap remote controller to control my tatasky settop box that is in different room ...

The URC R6 is a very inexpensive remote, awesome for STB/DVR functions, great key layout and has learning function! For $20 you can't go wrong. I have a couple used for small TV's in guest rooms.

But the R6 isn't RF, and so won't control the STB from another room. Can't go wrong with RFS200 RF remote and basestation. Probably will not have preset code, but the remote can be taught the commands.
