Hello!
I have a SHARP 19AD22U tv and I lost my remote :(. I don't want to buy the one that it came with back because its expensive. Are there any generic universal remotes that would work on it? I bought one a week ago and it didn't work. I was thinking about trying another one but I don't know which one to pick.. there's so many!

Thank you.

Decoding the Pronto Hex from this thread, your TV uses the Sharp IR protocol, device 1. This is typical for Sharp TVs, although other Sharps TVs use a different (Sharp DVD) IR protocol.

I think many universals will carry the setup code for this, including Comcast and other cable company remotes. I know that the RCA RCRP05B ($15-20 at Best buy sears, Walgreens, etc.) will control it using setup code TV 0093, 0688, or 0720.
