Hi,

I'm sure this has been posted before and I'm not really sure what I'm doing when it comes to remote controls but I am really struggling. I bought a JVC DLA G11 projector off ebay and it didn't come with the remote. Unfortunately the screen has been set to be upside down in the past and it cannot be inverted without the remote (bizarre!).

I have found a link on this site to the hex codes which should work with my projector but I have no idea:
a) which remote to buy (as cheap as possible please I only need it once to invert the screen!)
b) how to put the hex codes on said remote (is it done over USB?)

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

A Harmony 300 would probably work easily. More cheaply, you can manually program some UEI remotes using the 994 keymove command (one device mode).

Maybe you have an Atlas series remote used by some cable companies, or a Cox 7820B.  Some Radio Shack stores carry the 15-100, 15-133, 15-134, or 15-135 in closeout for a dollar or so.  Or you can buy a RCA RCRP05B ($20 at BestBuy, Walgreens, etc.)  OneForAll URC-8820 or 10820 will also work.  Vizio remotes VUR8 or URC66700 are also suitable.

Use setup code Audio 1374 (31374 for remotes that take 5 digit codes).

Use the following EFCs.
