Well, I started using the X10 home automation system and found just too many remotes to keep up with and began reading this great site and found I could spend days searching for the right thread & thought that someone else has already solved this remote mystery so here it goes...

I added X10 to my home and a DVD recorder with my existing TV and audio and need advise from others that may have found a good remote for the Dish Network Sat remote that uses UHF and will also work with my X10 and other IR device like TV DVD Recorder and Audio.

These are my primary needs in the remote and other features are important after the UHF(Sat) and RF(X10) and IR(TV, DVD-R, Audio) are possible with the single remote.

I do want easy device programming like the PC interface, etc. and macros and would like to have as many existing controls for each device to remain once this universal is programmed.

Thanks in Advance.

None, if the dish receiver is strictly Rf, then the only remote ever to control is the original oem remote.
