Hi guys,
first thanks to all contribs for great posts and a great site! spent many, many hours programming two different prontos in the past.
so my final pronto bites the dust...here's what I'm looking for...all equip is enclosed in a cabinet behind couch so I need some sort of RF system and a BTooth adapter or something for the PS3. I need macros to do all activities with a few button pushes for the wife(and me). I like the idea of the URC stick remotes and maybe Logitech but I've been out of it for so long I need some guidance. Also URC website is tough to see differences of all the models. I got tired of my screens going out so buttons and a screen are cool with me. Custom icons images aren't important to me anymore.
I would like to stay south of $400 but hoping to find functions I need for much cheaper. Also do the iphone/pad remotes make sense yet?(from what I've seen they aren't enough for full home theater)
Thanks a lot!

If you're used to (and like) the free-form Pronto style programming, the closest thing on the market right now is URC. Perhaps an MX-880 if you want a stick remote, plus one of the RF base stations. Might end up being north of $400 combined, though.
