I have a problem with my wrists, which is aggravated by using remote controls with buttons which require quite a lot of pressure to activate. The buttons on the Logitech 515 are much too difficult to press, for example. Can anyone recommend a universal remote control with buttons which are easy to press, which is preferably fairly light, and which can control at least 3 devices (TV, set-top box, Blu-ray recorder)?

My TV is an LG M228WA-BT, the set top box is a Strong SRT5423, and I haven't bought a Blu-ray recorder yet. I'd prefer to spend less than $100, but more might be ok for the right remote.

Is the Logitech issue compounded by the button spacing (or lack thereof)?

No, the problem with the Logitech is just that pressing the buttons requires too much force. I'm thinking of getting an iPod touch, and an IR transmitter which turns it into a universal remote (there are few of these on the market). I'd be interested in hearing the experiences of anyone who has already tried that, or something similar. The high cost isn't ideal, but I'm struggling to find a better alternative.

Based on your comments, you may also want to consider something that supports RF, just for the sake of not having to both point and push (hard buttons).

Budget yourself for a touchscreen. If you have difficulties with your wrist and the situation is getting worse that's the only way you will not aggreavate the condition. They are expensive, but in your condition it's probably worthwhile.
