hello
i'd like to buy a remote as christmas present.
a good and impressive one, yet not too expensive... (max $150... is that even possible?)

myself and the person i'd like to gift have NO IDEA about universal remotes.

it would be used for:
- TV
- DVD
- PROJECTOR
- STEREO
- (does video game include in this list?)

any suggestions? what brands, where to buy...
please let me know.
i would greatly appreciate your help...

thank you
best
rj

What do you want? A touchscreen? A non-touchscreen LCD? Hard buttons? Color screen?

Macros? Touchscreen?

What game system?

Dell Home has an awesome deal on the Logitech Harmony 880 for $130... I think that would be the most impressive option in that price range

You could also get the MX-700 for that. Not as good as the MX-850, but still a great remote.

thank you very much for your replies!

as for these questions:

"What do you want? A touchscreen? A non-touchscreen LCD? Hard buttons? Color screen?

Macros? Touchscreen?

What game system?"

well, i don't know what some of these options are, such as 'hard buttons', 'macros'....
if you think these r all necessary, then, yes! it'd be great to have it...
the game system would be the ps3.

thanks!!!
