I'm looking to get a 'Next Generation' remote extender system for a bedroom. Its the one where a battery is replaced in your remote to send an RF signal to the receiver.

I am seeing it being mentioned of some different versions. Specifically a 'plus' model. How many other versions of this are there and what are the main differences between some of them?
