I don't have a lot of experience in forums of this nature.. I could have, bumped as you say, an old thread, or start a new one
since I just need a simple answer, or a few opinions, simple for a novice
I am so used to Logitech products.. i.e Keyboards, Z2300 speakers, Harmony Remotes, I am afraid to leave them. Not to mention, I have a 50% off sales coupon if I call in
I was all along planning on getting the Harmony One
Great for a tight budget, who doesn't need the RF?
I had the 890 and loved it til the time and guide button went up
So without needing RF, I said The One automatically.
Then in Best Buy, two guys said, you will not regret getting the A/R Xsight Touch
I see that it gets great "general" reviews. Cnet hasnt reviewed it fully, but said it is a worthy competitor to Hamony One , which they call the best remote in that category
I then spoke to a district guy for Best Buy who sets up sound, saying clearly stick with The One, for the company, the warranty, the ease of use and he ergonnomics and the way it sits in the hand.
I do not need the RF capability and I may NOT need the media buttons.
btw what is the difference in My favorites that all the lower units have, vs Media
Will the Harmony One, have my favorites on it?
So should I listen to all the reviews, Cnet, and the district SEtup guy at Best Buy, and the Harmony The One,
OR
Shoud I venture out and get the Acoustic Research Xsight Touch??
Thanks so much. I hope you can understand my post and mind. My anxiety makes me race a little so I profusely apologize
Enjoy your day
