I have not been able to find a comparison chart for these as one is onsumer and one is professional. I know the MX450 has more macro capability and also has RF transmission capability but what are some of the other major features I would be missing if I go with the R50 vs the MX450?

I only run a TV (monitor only), Tivo S3, Blue ray player, and a denon receiver that does all my video switching via HDMI.

I originally wanted the MX450 but the R50 is much less expensive right now and I think it may have all the features I need.

Current remote is MX-500 classic from 2002.

The MX450 also can allow updates and will also archive your program thru the mini usb under the battery cover.

From my R50 review on this site:

"...it does have a direct counterpart in URC’s professional line: the Complete Control MX-450. That model is priced at $249.99 USD MSRP, with the extra $100 in cost affording the MX-450 a higher-end finish, built-in RF, more advanced on-screen macro programming, and the possibility of firmware upgrades and configuration backups via a USB port (although it still can’t be programmed by a PC)."
