I have all my A/V equipment in a storage room, 35 feet from TV. I want to control the TV from the RF receiver, probably by splicing in a 35 foot wire into a IR unit. Any thoughts on this? Does this eliminate the Harmony 900 and its new IR blasters? Thanks

Why not shoot the TV w/IR, and te stack in the storage room RF? No need for the 35' wire run and unsightly emitter on the TV.

I'm trying to keep this really simple for my partner.... and there is furniture blocking the line of sight to the TV... I still would like to try running an emitter and wonder if I can do so with the Harmony 900's blasters? Thx
