I'm trying to control a Calypso CA-200 Amplifier via RS232 (RTI XP-8). The only infomation I can find relates to a CA-500/CA-1000. 19200-8N1.
Doesn't say wether a Null Modem Cable is required so I'm guessing not. There doesn't seem to be Power commands, only Mute Toggle, Mute On, Mute Off, Volume Up and Down.
Any help would be appreciated.

TIA
Iain

I would guess that a null-modem cable IS needed. At least the cable between the amp and a CB-1000 control panel is crossed.
