Problem: This unit is several years old now but has worked flawlessly up to this point. I only have 2 lighting "rules" stored in the interface.

I noticed that it is not turning on/off the 2 lighting rules that were stored. I opened the ActiveHome program (v1.4 (B2.0.70) and attempted to reprogram the interface. I selected "System Time" on the CONFIGURATION tab and the INTERFACE CLOCK dialog box is reading the System Time correctly but the Interface Time just displays "Reading.....". When everything was working correctly, the Interface Time would show up within a second or two after requesting "set interface clock" I wasn’t sure if the AAA batteries in the interface had anything to do with the interface clock while the interface is plugged into the AC outlet. My thoughts are the batteries are only used as a backup to the interface if there was a power outage. I changed the batteries in the interface just in case, but the fresh batteries resulted in the same results.

I then clicked on TOOLS>TEST CONNECTIONS and TEST in the Interface Test dialog box, I tested all four comm ports and they all failed.

I disconnected the cable from the computer and cleaned it and reconnected it. Same failed results.

I tried a different AC outlet to plug the interface into. Same failed results.

At this point I can only assume that the IBM interface module has failed and am requesting any thought that you might have to correct this.
