I just purchased an X10 Infared Mini Controller (IR543) and Super Socket wall outlet (SR227). Works perfectly with my application.
One minor issue is that the super socket makes a loud click when switching on or off. I am wondering if the INSTEON Outletlinc (2473SWH) makes a loud click when switching on or off.
Anybody with any experience with both as far as how loud it is when switching on and off ?
Can someone also confirm that the X10 IR543 can control the Insteon Outletlinc module?
I thought I read in a thread on the Forum that people are using the IR543 to control Insteon modules because Insteon does not have an IR controller

the clicking is an internal relay. they are based on the same lay out as the appliance module. [Link: retrevo.com]try that link.
