I may not have searched hard enough, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a solution to integrate RTI products ( RP6, XP8 ) in with UPB products ( HAI lighting control). I didnt know if there was a device that would install in between the PIMM and RP6 in order to allow a K4/T4 to control lighting via UPB.

Any help is appreciated

I have asked both my RTI rep and the HAI trainer this same question. The answer is right now, NO. But shortly HAI will be releasing a driver that will allow for a lot more control via web browsing that the K4 and T4 have to offer. RTI is also developing some solutions for this. Both should be released some time around Cedia. The only solution right now that will allow a handheld remote to control the HAI panel is the new Pronto (TSU9400/9600). Pronto has a scripting called Pronto script that allows interation. HAI wrote the scripting for this remote.

Why don't you use the RTI RS232 module to send out an ASCII stream to the PIM to activate Links. PCS has a program called command wizard which will generate the strings you may also be able to pull them off of your log viewer.

Or just use ASCII strings from the XP-8 to the Lumina or Omni controller RS-232 port.
