Hi ALL,

I'm a Verizon FiOS customer and they are eliminating analog channels very soon. They offered free digital to analog converters which I just got and they work fine. One will be hooked up to a PC TV tuner card (which is on its way) but there are no buttons on the converter, just the remote. I would like to be able to send IR commands from my PC to the converter so I can change channels with mouse clicks rather than a remote.

Does anyone have any sugestions for a USB device that can transmit IR commands and software to control it. Also, I don't want to spend too much money.

Yes, I've seen it and that may do what I want but now I'm looking for software that can control it. Several people have recommended EvenGhost which is free, but its a little complicated and I've posted some messages looking for help with it.

AIVMS and a USB-UIRT. Change channels on your converter box simply by clicking on a "watch now" icon in TitanTV's grid listing or by clicking on a desktop shortcut. It really does not get any easier than that.
