Does anyone know of an amp/controller to make this work?

Basically I want to use my PC or Mac to control a multi-channel amp/whole house audio controller. I want to use an iPod Touch in each room as a remote that via WiFi will control that zone's audio source and volume. Is there a head unit that will allow web based control like Control4 via non-legacy devices?

This seems like an easy thing to find but I have had no luck. Thanks!

With an iPhone or iTouch you should check out "Signal" from www.alloysoft.com

This XP/Mac application allows complete remote control of iTunes via WIFI using iTouch or iPhone.

Output audio via airport express directly into speakers or as an audio source in your distributed audio system.
