Hi
I am wondering if anyone is familiar with this unit?
It is a standard X-10 Module which can control 12 volt DC devices. It plugs into the mains as usual and by setting the House and Unit codes, my Marantz RC 4200 can control it via a IR7243 IR Control Panel. I have it wired up to a relay which inturn makes/breaks a 12v dc circuit, which in turn controls my Home Cinema screen.
My question is this: -
Why can't the KR22 key-ring Remote when pointed at a TM13 Transciever address this module also? I fully realise that my Marantx is geared up to sending IR signals to the IR7243 receiver, whilst the KR22 sends out RF signals to the TM13 Transciever, but I thought any devices on the same house and unit codes could be controlled via the mains wiring if they were so addressed, regardless of the way the signals are sent?
Whilst I am sure I could figure a way how my Marantz could also send RF signals to the TM13 Transciever, I really do want the small KR22 remote to be a means of control also from another room.
Please can some one help me please?
Paul ps All my modules were bought from Simply Automate, here in the UK.
