Hello

I have a ceiling fan with light that connects to a standard 2 wire on/off switch. i would like to be able to dim the lights and turn the fan on and off via x10. what switch would you recommend.

thanks!

You would have to install two inline modules above the fan (or within it's shroud) and use a wall transmitter where the switch use to be. This would basically mimic how higher end fans come equipped.
