I could use some quick advice from someone. Bill, I'll be buying the IR543 from your site but maybe you can tell me what else I need.

I would like an x-10 scene capable dimmer switch for my home theater. Right now I have a regular 3-way dimmer in there so if you walk up a small flight of stairs another switch controls the same lights. I just got my MX-500 but don't have any x-10 equipment yet. I know from other posts that I need the IR543 but can you recommend a dimmer that will work with my 3-way set up? Also, I would like to be able to turn fireplace on and off as well. Is there a simple on/off module that you can also recommend?

Thanks.

A standard apliance module should work for the fireplace. Unless for some reason the fireplace opperates off of 220V, then you would need an apliance module for 220V.
