I remember reading an artical that someone had converted an AM to silent operation by removing the latching relay, using an SSR and some sort of logic I.C.
I have searched almost everywhere for this write up can anyone help me!!! A link or web site would be great

I haven't heard of this but the Smarthome appliance modules are 80% quieter.

cheers for that, but, I really could do with finding this mod for zero noise. I printed it out once then must have ditched it by mistake.
