OK, I'm a slow learner! I have check files and red from this news group and I still don't understand. I have a TDU 6000 sending RC codes (ones I have downloaded from the file site and those already on the TSU6000) to a IR543 via the RFX6000 in the equipment room. I hve the x10 modules set to same house codes as the IR543 is and I have the RFX6000 set to the same 0,0 codes that the tsu6000 is set to. Why isn't the x10 modules responding? When I use a x10 remote aimed at the IR543 they respond and when I push the TSU600 the RFX6000 IR light is blinking......What am I doing wrong.

Did you make sue you have an IR emitter going from the RFX6000 to the front of the IR543? If you do, then check your output level. If it is too strong it can confuse the IR543.

I have the rfx6000 facing the ir543. I'm not sure how to check the how strong the signial is. Should it work? the way it is set up?

I would try two things. First try varying the distance of the RFX 6000. Try to put it a few feet away and see if it works. If that doesn't work, then I would get a Xantech (or similar) IR emitter that lights up when it is sending signal. Plug it into an output of your RFX6000 and stick the other end onto the IR543 in front of the IR reciever. If it flashes when you send your commands then it is flashing something to the unit, but could be a bad command. Have you tried setting your Pronto to send IR to make sure your codes are good?
