Does anyone have any ideas why my #3 code will not work? I have tried with different lamps, Christmas tree lights, etc. But it totally fails to respond.
1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 work great.
#8 is also a little weird.
I have tried switching housecodes to no avail.

What do you have for equipment? How are you sending the codes? Do you know if the codes are actually being sent?

Hi. I am using the standard, Lowe's bought wall switches, sorry don't know model #, and standard x-10 white remote control. Will work on getting model #'s. I know the codes are being sent for the other stuff.

remote is model HR12A
switch is WS477 & LM465 to test...

Ok this is really weird. I just installed an XPCP because I have two circuit breaker boxes and PRESTO the #3 code is working perfectly.
I obviously have a lot to learn about X10.
Even though the plug was not located on the box I just coupled.
Confused,
