Is it safe to use a X10 Pro PLM01 for XMas lights on a tree with about 4-5 strands of lights on it??

I would think so. I am using a PAM02 to control the lights on my Christmas tree.

Just don't use a dimming module with an electronic light control; use an appliance module.

Straight light strings are fine on a dimmer, but the flashers won't flash if dimmed.

The wattage is the limiting factor, but it takes a lot of X-mas lighting to hit 300 watts.
