Well I need to change my thermostat cuz the one that came with the house is horrible... i was at home depot and i was going to buy a honeywell... will they work well with x-10 software like homeseer? I havent purchased the software yet and still havent started any x-10 projects yet.. but if I have to replace the thermostat maybe I should get one where I can program via x-10...
any good recomendations and any links? hopefully they arent too much so I can get the wife to agree for us to get one and then we can start the x-10 projects slowly...
thanks for all inputs... Jeff

so basically i can just unplug the one i have and plug one of them in? TR-16 looks good.... not too gaudy either.... what does something like that run? the honeywell at home depot was $40 for the 5day and 2 day program... and the 5 day, 1day, 1 day was $80... i dont want to go much over that though....

Bill,
I've been looking at these as well. I'd be interested in using an X-10 thermostat. The only reservation I had was that I wanted to control the thermostat with my ProntoPro. I know that there is no 2 way capability, but I'm sure there are work arounds for that. What I am interested in knowing, is: Do IR codes exist so that the thermostat can be controlled via Pronto?
Let me know.
Thanks
