I think I have seen the code somewhere on the web to program a Pronto universal Remote Control so that you can turn the lamp on & off.

Is there a site where I could find such code?

Thanks
Ray

You can find what you are looking for here on Remote Central. Look in the Pronto forum. I did a search in the files section for "x-10":

Try searching for X-10 and IR543. The search hits refering to X-10 Lighting are what you are looking for. You will need an IR543 IR-to-X10 interface box.

I have been confused by this for months.

I have 2 pronto's and I want to control my x-10 in my house, about 10 stations.

So all I need is the IR543 IR-to-X10 interface box?

Cool! How much? and where is best to buy?

Try this link [Link: homeautomationnet.com] Bill is a great guy with good prices and service. Remember that these use ir so they work off line of sight, so if your pronto's are in different rooms you may want to get one IR-543 for each.
