I recently bought a screw in lamp module (PSM04).
Unfortunatly it does not have dials to set the address.
According to the manual you can set the address by
sending the code followed by a tripple ON. I tried
that and all kinds of different combinations, but it is not accepting the new house code. Does anybody
have experience with that?
I forgot to mention the module responds well to the
factory default address "A1".
Thanks
Heiko

What are you using to transmit the code? I don't know about your specific unit, but most require either a table top mini-controller or a table top maxi-controller. Your instruction sheet should tell you.

Some of the mini controllers won't let you send the unit code and on commands separately. You could send A1 Aon, A1 Aon, A1 Aon but not the A1 Aon Aon Aon that you need. Make sure you're using a controller that requires to button presses to turn the light on now, i.e. [1], [on], not a single button that's actually sending A1 Aon.

I tried the table top mini timer and IR543.
Both no success. If I remember correctly, both
of them have combined buttons that send out the
A1 AON together. I also tried sending the commands
from my Ocelot but that did not work either.

It won't work if the button sends A1 Aon together. The IR543 sends them separately, however.
