I just finished building a mini movie room with actual movie seats and a platform etc. I went to SoundAdvice and they had a room set up where the lights dimmed and the drapes closed etc. I been researching x10 (since i'm on a tight budget) and I've been to all the sights, but i'm more confused than when i started out on what to buy. Can anyone help? I know you get lazy people who ask questions so they dont have to research, but I'm truly stuck.

You need a scene switch an IR transceiver a way to program the switch and a remote capable of sending out X10 (most can). We put together a kit that is really a loss leader to get you started into X10 right. [Link: homeautomationnet.com]

Any more questions just ask, we have kits for drapes also. Sound Advice is a great store, I love going in there it's hard to go in and think budget though.
