Hi,
Does anyone know of a phase coupler/repeater that is available for purchase that is approved for use in the US and Canada?
I really like the feedback I have heard on the ACT CR230, but I sent them an email and it has not been approved here in Canada, so I do not think I am going to take the chance of using it.
I would like to get one tho that is APPROVED, but I have nt been able to find one. I want one that is not going to cause me any problems.
Any feedback welcome.

interesting thread below. I thought any electrical stuff had to be UL approved to be sold commercially in the US. maybe not. I'll have to check mine. looks like the leviton unit is both ul and canadian approved, at least it says ul and csa "listed" and got the stamps on the case. whatever that means. link [Link: smart-homes.us]

I have read that people have been having nothing but problems with the Leviton 2-Phase X10 Amplified Coupler/Repeater.
Do you have one and if so, how well do they work with the different X10 products (X10, switchlinc, pcs, x10pro, etc)?

The Leviton unit might be approved but it's caused a lot of headaches for some people.
