Hi,

I am just looking at getting a SwitchLinc switch that just does true rocker on and off (no dimming, nothing fancy). I just want a motion sensor to turn on or off this switch when it detects motion.

I cannot determine which SwitchLinc I would need to buy to do this. They look like they all dim, which cost more for something I am not going to use with this particular application.

I would also like a good quality switch!

Thanks
Bob

This is a 2-way switch with scenes, dimming and everything. I am just looking for a SwitchLinc switch that does on and off, like a regular decora single pole switch. On and off with no dimming, nothing.

I will be using the switch to control a regular 110V light in my mudroom when the motion sensor senses movement. Would the switch above still work for this.

I ask because I see that it says it is for flourescent, low voltage, etc.

Thanks
Bob

The non-dimming switches will work for any load. The dimming switches work only with incandescent lights.

You can get the same 2385 for $34.50 at this link:

Though I'd pay the $4.45 more to get the 2384 which has the ability to dim if you ever decide you want it.

Thanks Larry.

Could I also use the 2385 to turn on and off my gas fireplace which currently has low voltage wires running to a decora toggle switch to switch it. There is no 110v on the fireplace switch.

Would the 2385 work for it, since I see that it it used for low voltage.

Thanks
Bob
