I want to set up a simple 2 lamp X10 system in a single room. What do I need to be able to use the Pronto TSU2000 to control them? I only have 2 lamp modules, do I need a control console to send TSU2000 commands to??? Thanks

Thanks Larry! Got one on the way. After reading specs of your suggestion, I now understand that Pronto IR must be converted to RF and this will do it...thanks again!

No, it's not RF, it's X10. The IR543 converts IR commands into X10 commands. There's no RF involved.

If you are looking to expand your X-10 system in the future, you might consider the IR-543AH. The differance between it and the basic unit is that it will send commands to All Housecodes where as the basic unit can only use one housecode.
