I have 3 lamp modules in my living room. They all worked just fine for a couple of weeks. Then for no reason as tall 2 of them failed. It’s odd because I can turn the lamps on and off manually but the ability to remotely turn them on and off does not work anymore. Anyone have a reason for this? I guess what I should do is swap out one and see if there is a problem with it. I was not overloading them either. 40 watt bulbs in both. The third one however is still working fine.

Just a guess, noise, weak signal? Probably noise since it was working. Swap one that does not work for the one that does. Bill www.homeautomationnet.com

I agree,it probably noise or a weak signal and the 2 not working are farther down the circuit. I had a similar problem but it was an outside light not working that had a long run from the switch to the bulb. I found out it was a noisy attic roof ventilator fan, that was the cause. a lot of times in the mid-west or southern states these will run after midnight with temps over 100 degrees. it's a pain to check some of these since they are not usually fused with a time delay/switch and are just spliced into the closest circuit, so I would try a phase coupler, repeater-amp to see if a good signal starts them working again. I agree with bill swap them out for the one that's working first and make sure it's not the units and then troubleshoot from there. might also want to check the 2 hots, working vs not working and see if they read 220/240v with a vom. different phases if they read above 110/120. also try an appliance mod. in the "not working" ones place and see if it thumps. if it does I would suspect noisy worn switch on the light or even a noisy filament on the bulb.
