How many out there have the "8in1" remote? I just ordered one yesterday(great price),but I've heard that it doesn't or won't learn certain codes for "Dishnetwork Receivers"! I'm concerned about it not being able to operate the JVC "Dishplayer" model 7100.
Anyone have this system with a 8 in 1 remote operating it?

Just looked in the book for you and I didn't see JVC "Dishplayer" model 7100 listed. The x-10 remote is IR learning so you can teach it any IR code you wish. There may be a problem if the remote for the JVC is RF (which I think it is). If the original remote will work in any room in the house, it won't be able to be learned into the X-10 remote or most other learning remotes.
