Hello every one, I just purchased a Programable control center and timer to control some outside and inside lights, along w/ many other x-10 item's. Anyway here's the problem, my house has an addition to the back side, If I plug the controler into the backside of the house and try to tell it to opperate a light on the front porch it doesnt work but if I plug the controler into an outlet on the front part of the house it works, And same goes if I plug something into the back porch and try to plug controler into the front of the house it will not work but if I plug controler into the back of the house it will work. Any idea's on what I could do to make it work anywhere in the house?? X-10 clames it should work anywhere in any house.. Any Idea's for me. Thank you Brian

Brain,

Sounds very much like a phase coupling problem. Try a passive or active (suggested if home is over 3000sqft) phase coupler. You may need a licensed electrician to install these.
