If I remember correctly, the motion detectors only work when it is dark out. You can disable that 'feature', but it requires opening them up and using electrical tape to cover the light/dark sensor. Search this forum and you will find the info you need to disable it.

Kevin,

The old MS12A Hawkeye motion detectors did work that way, but the newer (they're not all that new) Hawkeye II MS13A and Eagle Eye MS14A motion detectors are programmable for dark only, or all the time operation.

Try moving the receiver module (TM 751?) around and see if that improves. It took me a while to find a location that worked reliability with my motion detectors that were placed outside.

Dave.
