NEW X-10 LIGHT SWITCH ONLY 2 MONTHS OLD. NO PROBLEMS WITH IT. LIGHT BULB BLEW THIS MORNING AND NOW THE SWITCH WILL NOT WORK. I CAN TURN IT ON AND OFF FROM BOTTOM LEVER BUT PUSH BUTTON WILL NOT WORK. MY PRONTO WON'T WORK IT EITHER. WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS? IS THERE A WAY TO REMEDY THIS PROBLEM? IS THE SWITCH STILL GOOD OR DO I NEED ANOTHER ONE? WHAT OTHER SWITCHES ARE OUT THERE? LIVE IN AN APARTMENT AND THE ELECTIC OUTLET ONLY HAS 2 WIRES IN IT. HELP!!

STOP YELLING!

The switch wont work as it's supposed to , so ,yes, it's dead.
The triac is probably shorted....get a replacement from Radio Shack and see if that fixes it.
