I have managed to blow my brand new xantech IR amplifier 791-44 by stupidly connecting the dc power up with the wring polarity. Does anyone know if these can be easily repaired, and how ? If anyone has done this before I would appreciate some advice..

Thanks,
Eamon

Have done the same thing
You can repair it with parts from Mouser Electronics
(mouser.com) (800) 346-6873
One or all of the following parts are shot
total cost of all parts is under $2.00

mouser part # discription price
512-6N135 QT optoelectrinic Device $.90
610-MJE371 transistor $.58
140-XRL16V470 Xican electrolytic cap $.14
