Anybody has similiar problems with SPS-1 Video-Sync-Sensor.
Have installed an Pioneer dvd player which is connected over Scart RGB
to the television and on the FBAS-Output the sync module.
Have tried an monitor on the FBAS output to see if a signal coming out,
which works fine, but the sync modul will not detect the signal.
any ideas?

Send the stop command twice to the DVD player, wait 5-10 seconds and send the power command.
You may need to setup a flag on/off to prevent the stop command from transmitting every time you shut off the system.

Just curious why you need to sense video on a pioneer DVD? They have discrete on and off commands...
Also, play will turn on a pioneer DVD and start the flick.

The problem is solved in the meantime.
Reason was a wrong software in the player, because
the player was updated with special software from
pioneer, which makes it possible for the customer
to play all DVD and CD's with different country codes.
It is not clear how this influence the video outputs.

Yes i'am also received discret codes for the player,
and you are right it makes all programming things much easier.
